That is a beautiful and extraordinary story. The dress is so beautiful and in such good condition. Nice insets on the gored skirt and unusual placement of the zipper for a late 30s dress. I cannot wait to see more pictures of it. I wish I could see it in person. This might turn into a vintage fiction story to add to my collection, or at least the idea of of finding a dress in a trunk.
